I have a collection of amaryllis. I moved them to greenhouse last spring and most of them rebloomed in the summer for me. They are in storage for the winter. They will be brought out at some point after the holidays and planted for spring and summer blooms.

Of course I probably won't be able to resist the sale on bulbs so may have some blooming before then. :)

Another one opened today. It doesn't have a scent, but the blooms are huge. They measure over 8". It is hard to capture how the red sparkles.

I really like your Amaryllis Laurie. It kind of looks like Apple Blossom.

This one is one of the 2 that I had last winter. I looked after them terribly this summer and they were left outside to endure some frost. But they didn't seem to mind the neglect.
In fact this particular one has a baby.

Hermitage is really pretty too, Shelley! Mine very well could be Apple Blossom, as it probably came from a box store where those seem to be a popular variety.

I've got another one that will soon be opening. I think it's an all red one. It'll be nice to have one blooming for Christmas day for a change!lol

This Amaryllis blessed me with blooms at Christmas. This is the other badly neglected bulb. I guess I didn't do too bad because this one is already sending up another flower stalk.
