Hi Eva, is this the only room that gets new flooring? if not how are the rest of the bedroom floor being setup?

There is no right or wrong way since you have concrete base. Having the planks laid length wise reduces cuts, waste, and labor. But once you have all the furniture in place the wood flooring would not be as obviously as an empty room.

Yipee, thanks for the replay:) Not sure how the furniture will go yet (don't have it yet) Love this look above. The other room is another bedroom that will have new floors as well, but is it down the hall so it not connected with this one. The hall way out side the bedroom and open space in between the the bedrooms will be polished concrete...this is the view from the open space. the door on the far end is the entrance to the long bedroom (the door is on the long wall)
Love your webside! Took a lot of ideas from it (this is a new addition that we just built this summer)!
