What Temp is Ideal for Rooting Fig Cuttings

Got a bunch of cuttings in 1 gallon water jugs, appropriately perforated to allow some airflow, but maintain moisture.

So what temp is ideal for rooting?

And how moist is moist as far as medium goes? They are in a mix of 80% peat with a bit of fine woody compost and a bit of sand right now. Don't know if that's good, but that's what I had.
