I'm still not at peak, but my dl's are really beginning to pop. Here's a few shots taken today. Would you believe we haven't has any rain today so I got to make some decent photos at last. :)

I'll only put a couple here and the rest can be seen at the link below. :)

Ellie...that's not a red one, it's more like a deep fuchia purple/pinkish..LOL...hard to describe, but anyway, it's Jamaican Jammin by Shooter. Don't you love it? The blooms are huge.

I'm in awe! You should be proud of the results of what I'm sure was a LOT of hard work. Loved the slideshow. That pond is so cool. Wish I had the land to create something like you have. It's fabulous!!!

Awww Sue...now you got me blushing!! :) Yes, it has been and still is a lot of work, but it's something I love to do. It's been an ongoing project of mine for over 20 years now and I'm finally getting it to a place that I really enjoy. I just wish ya'll could all come for an "in person" visit. Seeing photos is great, but getting up close and personal with the garden is so much better. LOL
Ya'll all just load on up and come on down to central Alabama for a visit sometime, ya hear? ;-)

    Jan,
That is so funny! I too have been making the "bed" shots so I could see the effects of multiple blooms.

Oh that's pretty Kay....is that Malaysian Marketplace in the right front corner? I love those birdhouses...I'm a sucker for pretty birdhouses but some of them are so expensive. I've built some myself and intend to build more.
Don't you just love these full bed shots?
Thanks for adding yours here. I'd love to see other peoples too.

Wow....I absolutely love the full bed shots of people's gardens! You not only see the beautiful flowers, you see the person's personalities and passions shining through, also. Jan and Kay, what incredible gardens you both have! So awesome, and thanks so much for posting them. I have really enjoyed all the bed shots that have been posted on here this spring. Daylilies are absolutely wonderful, and when you see them with their companion plantings and garden art, it makes them shine even more. What a way to end the day for me! Jan G.

Love these photos! Wish I could visit everyone's beautiful gardens. 20 years of work is really paying off Jan. I'm on my 4th year at this house, so I have a way to go. These pictures give me so many great ideas. Hubby isn't so sure he likes this forum. lol Kay - I too, love the birdhouses. And they can be very expensive. If I had my way, there would be birdhouses all over the front and back gardens in every color. I really like whimsy in the garden.
Thanks so much both of you for sharing. Would love to see more.

Love all the garden bed shots. They are always my favorites. As far as I am concerned there should be lots more like these :-))

I'm in awe, your garden is so beautiful!

Beautiful shots! I wish I could be there in person. Better yet, I wish you could come up here and take care of mine!

Jan, I just browsed your garden album and it's beautiful! And now you've given me the idea that I could make bird houses that look like Kay's. Oh dear...not another project right now...it's too hot and I have too much to do. Thanks for the photos ladies.

Fabulous! and that Jamaican Jammin is wonderful. My honeymoon was so horrible there I won't be buying it though....

Gorgeous Jan and the dial up didn't keep me from participating in your garden's beauty. I clicked on the thread and just left the room so it could take all the time it wanted to load. Thanks for sharing!

Field trip! Let's all visit Jan this summer and sit in the shade sipping sweet tea (That's southern!) Jan, your place is amazing. Thanks for the full bed shots. I am always looking at ways to incorporate daylilies with other flowers.

Let's see, Jan you are dead on, that's Malaysian Marketplace.

I love the birdhouses...got most of them(and there is a new one not up yet) for presents. Take a look though...the one in the foreground came from a sale, on website only, from Park's gardens! It was only $29. The one further back that looks a lot like is, was a Christmas present, and it was high - got it a couple of years ago.

The butterfly house on the right and the bluebird house on the far right in back were from son and daughter-in-lay for Christmas. But I look at birdhouses a lot, and buy very few.

I've been looking for my pattern.. I made one a few years ago and would like to make another. All the posts they are mounted on are metal that is designed to be used for chain-link fences. I spray painted them to match, and used metal so cats can't climb them.

Kay, how do you attach the houses to the metal posts? I'd like to do that with mine.
