I am ISO very simple, modern, unique, non-cheap looking blinds that will block light in our bedroom. I don't know where to begin looking for modern, high-quality blinds. Photo of my bedroom attached. PLEASE pardon the mess-- just moved in!

Maybe looking for blinds that come in color to add some character--grey or greybrown (but not a necessity). Some texture could add interest. And then there is the issue of how to let light in when you do want some light. I guess we would prefer top-down blinds to accomplish that. Any leads on excellent tried and tested blinds or a recommended manufacturer/retailer would appreciated. Many thanks.
