Just wondering if it is best to give the bottom of the cutting a fresh cut prior to trying to root, or is it best to leave it as a dried cut end. Also, should the cuttings be soaked in a glass of water when they arrive or leave as is. I am using the sphagnum in a plastic box method to root.
