You can try swishing them around in a sink full of warm soapy water - I know it really helps with spider mites. Do it every couple of days. Hopefully this will keep them relatively healthy until they move outside, and Mother Nature can deal with them.

When I have white flies on my indoor plants, the first thing I do is hang a yellow sticky trap. These can be bought at the local garden centers or even the home hardware stores. You can also make your own with some craft paper cut to 3X5" pieces and smeared with vaseline. The paper should be yellow as white flies are attracted to yellow. In a pinch, I have even resorted to using an old Sunlight dish detergent bottle. I smeared it with vaseline and scraped the white flies off to reuse it. Guess it was just the right shade of yellow.
After that, I spray with insecticidal soap and even water some of the soap mix into the soil to kill any eggs that may be there. Hope this helps. Marg

I have used Safers Soap with great results in the past. You will have to be persistant with it though. I usually buy it in concentrated strength and mix it down with water. It works well for aphids as well.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have washed the plants in the warm soapy wash and sprayed with Dr. Doom. I'll try the Safers Soap as well. Upon closer inspection, the plants were really loaded with eggs and flies.

Spray/wash them with good old Sunlight(lemon) dishsoap & water.. Seems to always work for me.. You might have to do it a couple of times..
