I am now rooting in a similar fashion Noogy, in two quart pots. What I do is gradually wean the cutting away from their little humidity domes (I use a clear inverted cup over each cutting, and I air each one out for a couple minutes each day right from the start).

Once I think a cutting might survive on it's own I start leaving the humidity cup off for gradually longer periods of time. I might start with only 15 or 20 minutes. If the leaves don't wilt...they get a longer period outside the dome the following day.

Green cuttings are the most dramatic. If you leave the dome off for to long the entire cutting will wilt and flatten out in it's pot. But even then, if you re introduce humidity...they usually spring right back.
