I would try to grow them as cuttings. Plant them deep in a well draining soil mix and keep soil moist but not wet. A humid greenhouse would work better and maybe even take off some leaves to stop water loss until the root system can grow, but I wouldn't expect too much though. You may even try to bury them horizontally in the soil with just the top inch and a leaf or two poking through the surface, again keeping the area moist. warm and moist will help roots grow, but sopping wet will cause rot.
