Yard Slideshow

I uploaded a few photos of the yard and you can see them in a slideshow by selecting it in the upper right corner if you choose to do so, I'm sure some of you have seen a few of them before. I adopted many plants this year that I've never grown before and they have done very well, some of them include: Crocosmia - Lucifer, Delphinium - Blushing Bride and Blue Lace, Penstemon - Miss Moneypenny, Red Hot Poker - Flamenco, Foxglove and many others.

Your garden is so beautiful, everything in bloom - or just about ready to go...wow. Many plants I'd like to try, but have to wait until I've prepped the sunny beds. Right now all mine are in the shade. Good job!

Wow! You sure have a green thumb! Thanks for sharing your pics with us. Your roses are absolutely breathtaking, especially on the arch with the clematis. Now will that clematis grow tall enough to climb that arched trellis or do you have one of same planted on both sides, hoping they'll meet in the middle? I've seen people do that but I always wondered how they managed to prune each one individually. What is the name of that rose and clematis on that trellis? I see you have black urns at end of sidewalk, did you spray paint them by any chance. Are they stone? I have a few made of stone but have started using the fake stone that's much lighter in weight to move around. Have you ever considered putting your archway trellis at end/beggining of your sidewalk where you have your urns placed? Everything looks so nice and healthy and well maintained. Congrats on trying new things. Keep those pics coming for us to enjoy.

I am speechless. The garden and photography are both inspiring. I would love to use the photo of the yellow bird as a screen saver. Is it possible to get a copy? I promise not to use it for any other purpose . . . regardless, congrats on an awesome job!

Lovely garden - I am especially impressed with your plant spacing as it's something I'm working on - I'm trying to have a less 'busy' garden and yours is a great inspiration. TFS

Thanks everyone, I've really worked hard this year but I think the reward is worth it.
Pippi21 the arbor has a Zephirine Drouhin Rose and Ramona Clematis planted on each side and they have filled it out quickly, one Clematis would have been enough as both have made their way across, I have helped guide it where I want it to fill in and then it went crazy. I wanted the arbor near the screened porch to take advantage of the fragrance, it is heaven. The urns are cast iron and were already painted when I bought them.
Garderme you are welcome to the Goldfinch photo for your screensaver, I have a feeder for them and a Hummingbird feeder by the window and I have many photos of them, my email is : rick1478@charter.net
Lynnencfan, I ordered 4 Pia Hydrangea's years ago and I quickly found out that it wasn't (the other's were) I found a spot for it and I have people asking all the time about it.
