I order from both of those, but also Select, Parks. I've ordered from Thompson & Morgan when they have things others don't. I have ordered from Pinetree also. I have not ordered yet from J L Hudson but have heard good reports from other posters on Carolina Gardening. Over the past 10 years the individual companies have cut back a bit on the variety offered- probably a cost issue.

I have ordered from Select Seeds in the past but got all of my seeds this year from Renee's Garden. My order was filled and shipped quickly and I am very happy with everything. I will order from both in the future.

I don't order seeds unless it's something really special I can't find on the local racks at RKO or garden centers. Even my favorite greenhouse always has a rack of Renee's Garden seeds; but this year I did order a special color of zinnia from a site that offered RG's because he was so much cheaper than RG herself.

I agree, there is not as much variety offered on seed racks as there has been in the past.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I'd never heard of Select Seeds. Am enjoying looking at the site and tempted to place an order. ;)

I bought at Summerhill this year and also from Everwilde. I liked both very much. I also purchased a few from Baker Creek (because I also get veggies there), and sometimes I purchase on eBay or Etsy if a seller has something special I can't find elsewhere. Quite often it ends up I'm buying from GW friends!

Renee's Gardens, Diane's Seeds, Swallowtail Garden Seeds, Select Seeds....and, I buy Botanical Interests and Livingston Seeds at local garden centers.

Here is a link that might be useful: this year's flowers from seeds

I love Botanical Interest seeds, and one year I sold Livingston at work, but nobody else here seems to carry them. I found Livingston to have excellent germination and some nice flower varieties.

I agree on Livingston Seeds. Some of the best seeds and plenty to a packet. Ace Hardware carries those in our area, but when they sell out, they're out until the next spring.
