Well after reading how RWS lost so much last night maybe this will give you a glimmer of hope.

This Endless summer hydrangea was yanked out of the ground a month ago. My dogs had used it as a urinal all winter and with no signs of life for 6 weeks after everything else showed green I gave up. It was literally dug up and tossed by my bark and soil piles. Last night when off loading some bark fines the wife noticed some green. Go figure. Hope you have some luck too.

Now, why did you yank it out of the ground in the first place? Are you going to plant it back now???

Would love me some Endless Summer, but then I am in zone 3 so I need to be realistic........ :-(

Ostrich I yanked it because it showed no life forever. I figured, like other things, the dog urine killed it. If it was hardy to your area I would send it to you.

Yeah I am going to prune the dead wood, basically the whole plant and replant tomorrow.

I am still shocked. It was sitting on the ground like shown for at least a month.
