My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We are looking for a window unit with a large upper fixed lite and small lower awning lite to be used as south-facing passive solar units. Do you know who might make such a window?

Many company's make windows like these. The upper portions are a standard commercial type storefront system and the lower operable units are made by Gherkin. Your contractor can help you find a good local distributor.

Also, if you're interested in keeping the light factor, we actually design pattern glass which lets in light but provides privacy to your home.
