I can hardly get over how humid it's been ...without raining, in this area between Stettler and Camrose. And I mean just in the past couple of days. I've been checking different places at Environment Canada this morning, and I see we have another sticky day coming up here, and many other areas do as well.

You lucky folks in Edmonton have just 78% humidity, here it's 96% and up! I can't hardly imagine that we don't get a humdinger of a thunderstorm sometime soon!

As for the gardening side of it, most of the plants must just love it, still growing bigger by the day - natch, the ones that don't love it are developing a bit of the old mildew.

I had to ( heartbreaking sobs here ) cut down my verbascum bombyciferum, it was just too loaded with the mildew. It's one of my favorite plants but it had to go. Just not looking good at all, despite all the mildew control recipes I tried.

Just call me sticky for today!
