I have discovered a blackberry that looks about the same as a blueberry, but it grows very low on the ground on tiny bushes that look similar to creeping juniper. The local people here just call them blackberries, but they are not the same blackberries that I am familiar with - the Rubus genus. I posted this message here because these berries appear to survive only in the far north of Canada. Anyone familar with this berry and know its proper name?
