Brenda, what's the botanical name of those, I've never heard of Hanson's Bush Cherry? I'd be for sure interested in some babies, that's if you can wait next spring to dig them up for me?

The botanical name is Prunus besseyi ÂHansonÂ. By the way, it is a shrub that deer like to eat. Do you have problems with deer, Sharon?

Yes we do have deer out here, but knock on wood they haven't come up too close yet to do any damage. Our dog usually scares them away or DH and his gun ;)

Sharon, your DH and his gun is a little more permanent of a fix for the deer problem. We have the same solution here, the dogs and my DH and my DSs.
