Glad you were patient with your trees. I know of a few who threw them all out and never gave them a chance.

Of the remaining ones, I have one I would like to see wake up. This one cannot be replaced. At least not anytime soon.

Happy for you Rafed. I waited and waited on a few and when I checked the roots again they were all dead. I did have about 12 or so that came back after the awful winter.

Here's hoping for the last one. How are you going to manage this one? Fertilize or not, let it grow under your HID light for a few months or not?

Years ago on my first attempt to grow figs, I pulled up all my "sleeping" trees after a brutal central Florida winter because they didn't wake up with the other plants. I have noticed fig cuttings vary by months when they strike - some I have almost given up on after months are now beginning to show growth. Now, I think - just wait a little longer! Figs act more like bulbs than other shrubs.

Another late bloomer.
This is my Sal Corleone. It was in a 15gl pot and roughly 5' or 6' tall with multi branches. Dead! So I thought.
I cut it down a week or so ago and was moist. I knew this was going to be a good ending (or beginning).

I just checked on it today and it is breaking a bud to the side. I cut the rootball down to fit in a 2gl pot.

Still waiting for that one rare fig I have to break.
