And appropriately (for the autumn season) she was sitting on a blooming (autumn joy?) sedum.

With its little bee friend - how cute! It better get hustling down to Mexico for the winter tho.

What a nice splash of colour that is in the garden! Maybe it was just re-fueling for it's long journey.

I hope it's southbound Laurie - or maybe it's a sign of a very long warm autumn ahead of us? Kind of like that hummingbird that is still around my yard? Too much to hope for, I'm sure.

That is Autumn Joy, Glen, I kinda think that they're blooming a little later than normal this year. And yes, there were lots of little bee friends - they seem to really like sedum blossoms (which, by the way, make very long lasting cut flowers)
