Leaf-raking moon!

It's supposed to be a Harvest Moon but there isn't much left to harvest - a few rutabaga that will get picked tomorrow, and that's about it. But it was a beautiful day here in Northwestern Ontario and a beautiful evening too. After supper, i read the newspaper and then decided to sit on the deck for a little while because it was still so mild. While i was sitting there, it occurred to me that i could see well enough in the moonlight to continue the raking i had started this afternoon. So i did! Pretty soon dh came over from the garage to check out what was going on - he said it sounded like the big buck snorting! Don't know if that's a compliment or what! LOL

Anyway, in light of what's supposed to come by the end of the week, this evening was a gift to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I'm glad that it was nice for you. Can you guess what happened here all day? Rain, rain and then it poured. It started raining around 5 am this morning and hasn't let up since. I don't think that I will get my garden all out this year. It still hasnt dried up from our last big rain.

Reminds me of an episode of "The Adams Family" where Morticia sat out on her patio under the full moon getting a "moon tan".

So that's where our nice weather went? Saturday was just gorgeous and I used the opportunity to take the fish inside for winter. Considering it was Oct 7th even the pond water wasn't too cold. Now they are saying bad things in the forecast so today I would like to get some more stuff down around the yard.

Shelley, i feel for you. We've had years like that too. I always wish things would even out, but i guess it wouldn't be very interesting or challenging then, eh?

Glen, i checked - no moon tan! LOL
