Hi,
I'd love to know if anyone can help. A friend who had to move out of state gave me a beautiful potted fig. It is a healthy tree full of fruit. I managed to get the thing into my SUV and home without any damage and only a 1 fig loss :).

I've placed it in my garden in the area I want to put it into the ground. I want to see how it does there first. I live on the San Francisco peninsula so I don't need to worry about winter freeze.

The only problem is the original owner has no idea of what type of fig it is. He took a cutting from a friend. I do know that the ripe fruit does not get any color on the exterior. It stays green. I was able to pick one today and take some photos.

I'm hoping some of you can help me.
