How long ago did they sprout?

Is it normal for them to change color like this?
This one was green before

Are they all this size? Is there any budding at the joint? I sowed coleus 14 February. Here they are on 14 March after one month of only sunlight and no fertilizer.

Your plants might be focused on root development during this time. In your position, I would lay off additional fertilizer, not keep them too wet, and have patience.

Are they turning purple naturally? Or is this a sign of something bad? A few that have turned purple have died

All of mine have the coloration starting with the second set of leaves, not the first set. Mine are simple store-bought seeds "Rainbow Mix".

How are your coleus now? This is a pic taken today of the same tray I posted earlier.

They are doing really well now some have gotten large enough for the garden. These are the others I still have inside

Your coleus look so good! The colors are gorgeous - is that the Wizard Mix?
I planted mine too late, I didn't realize how slow they would grow, and they are still very small. Thanks for posting your new picture, I still hope mine will get in the ground before the end of summer.

I have 2 mixes in there. Some are giant exhibition mix, and some are wizard mix. They sure do take forever to grow from seed! Next time I'll start mine sooner too. It seems like once the roots are able to spread laterally the grow fast though! I really like your too! Don't be afraid to show more pics as they grow!
