I have a vine that grows up every year that I would like to get help identifying. The vine grows in segements. Each segment is flat 1/2 inch wide and approx 4 inches in length with a vein running through the middle. At the end of each segment it has trailers that attach to whatever it can to continue to grow. The flowers look like minature orchids or sweet peas. I suspect the vine has been in existence on the property forever. My mother and grandparents lived here. I have looked at several plant books and cannot seem to find a reference to this plant. Please help. Lisa
