In the 1990-th Hubertus Nimsch planted 60 different Abies in Arboretum Freiburg-Günterstal. And under these plants was one Abies beshanzuensis. But I do not know, what happened till today. The Areal is 100 ha and I think it will be very hard to find a plant. Please ask Hubertus Nimsch. He will be the only person who - maybe - can answer.

There's one here in The Netherlands in my collection...

I have grafted 3 or 4 years ago some scions of 2 arboretum, (1 from H. Nimsch) it's 2 different plants.
And I'm not sure it's a true Abies beshanzuensis.

Hello Clement

Can you post a photo of your Abies beshanzuensis?

A new fir to me. If at Dawe's grows in my same US climate (Abies beshanzuensis zone 4 says Buchholz & Buchholz).

"zone 4 says Buchholz & Buchholz"

Nope, not a chance. Given its native location (southeastern China), probably zone 6, maybe only zone 7. Likely very similar to its close relative A. firma.

Thank you all

"Likely very similar to its close relative A. firma."

Exactly what it looked-like to me.
