It's not a good idea to keep them growing thru winter. They need a period of dormancy to grow well the next year. Do not prune them now; keep them in a cool place that doesn't freeze. This is not a good time to take cuttings as they are beginning to go dormant. In February you can expose them to indoor conditions to force growth and take cuttings from the new growth.
