It's snowing horizontally, here.

Dang! I missed it. I would love to have a nice pretty snow this winter for my 3 and 4 yr. old grandchildren to see and play in, but not so much that people have trouble getting to work.

It started out one little green blip on the radar map that just happened to be overhead. When I let out the dogs I noticed that there was some confetti-like stuff coming down. About 10 minutes later it ended and I zoomed out on the radar and it looked like several larger green with some yellow blips coming at us and even atlanta. But it didn't happen again that I noticed. It didn't accumulate or anything but it was kind of like mother nature throwing confetti to celebrate the new year.
It wasn't even that cold either. I think it was around 33-36 degrees.
Not that flurries are unheard of this time of year just that it's been so long since we had any in my area. It looked like north fulton/forsyth got the heaviest with the yellow/green blips. Maybe someone can confirm.

I missed it. But I did see the sleet/hail on Christmas, so I told everyone I had a white Christmas.

I saw it! I had taken one of our cats out (she can be a bad cat sometimes) and then opened the door to call Hubby to come look. He did and asked what I was doing out in the cold. I told him Calico was out and I was waiting for her to finish. He said he just saw her a few seconds before running 90 miles an hour through the living room. She had run in when I opened the door to call him and I didn't see her. So she was in and I was out. It would be nice to have one good snow this year- it's been so long.
