I was turning under the green manure in my garden today, when I noticed a pretty large rock about 9" down from the surface. The rock, at least what I uncovered was about 9"X12" which is a pretty good sized rock. Should I remove the rock from the garden, or should I just ignore it? I know it would be best to remove the rock, but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort in the end, especially considering the fact that it could easily turn out to be two or three times the size of what i've uncovered.

Is 9" of soil enough for most plants, or will they suffer if they are planted over the rock?

I guess the third option would be to move the garden to a diffrent location, but that also would be a ton of work and it is currently located in the most ideal location on the property.
