Around Atlanta they are everywhere. There are red and pink varieties. And I would think that the Athens nurseries would have them as well. We bought three last spring and I have loved them. But my wife really does like "real" roses.

Can anyone clarify what is the orginal (first) knockout rose referred to as? I always thought the first was a dark bright pink/red and then there was a truer red, and then came the med pink and blushing pink last year, but now I only see 3 colors listed everywhere. I am trying to match some I ahve that aren't blooming and I can't remember which color they are since I have all but the blushing. Are my originals the same as the medium pink? I'm so confused.

Walmart has them

I bought all of mine at Home Depot. That way I had my money back if I killed them in a year. Well, I'm happy to say, that the knockouts are easy as pie! I have them growing on the southside of my house, against it, actually. And in beds. They bloom alllll the time. And look great. But they don't match my interior so, I am replacing them with some yellows and oranges...
By the way, they grew so fast! Pretty reddish green bush.

Try the Walmart or Craven Pottery in Commerce. My dad lives in Jefferson, and IÂve had good luck finding plants at those two places.

I just bought a few "Redrazz"(I thought this was the orginal, but i am not positive) at Pike the other day. Does anyone know how well they will grow in clay ammended with topsoil? I wonder if they can they be grown in containers?

I bought 2 Redrazz at Walmart's yesterday...they are dark-pink...where are the true red ones? (I thought Redrazz was the red)...

Mine thrive in amended clay. They look happy to me!

I found them at Lowes and Cofers in Athens. Cofers probably has them now.
