I have a pretty decent sized vegetable garden and due to other commitments earlier in the year I have let the weeds get a bit out of hand. Rather than spend a few days digging them out I was going to use a weedkiller. I've read in a few places that as long as you don't plant the veggies right away then it shouldn't be a problem.

Any advice?
