Tulip questions

I usually don't bother with tulips because they are considered annuals here in zone 8 (or 7B - whichever it is now). Anyway, I did put some in two big pots and I am wondering if I can dig them up at some point and put them in a refrigerator and plant them again next spring?

Wait 8 weeks if they have foliage and dig them up and dry first (at least til dead foliage can be removed easily). Then put them in the fridge until November 1st. Be sure to fertilize well when you plant with bone meal or bulb food.

This is the same reason I have given up on Tulips. What a hassle!

I actually planted 20-30 tulip bulbs last year from Sams club and they came up so beautiful the entire neighbourhood commented on them. I left them in the ground ( i live in Powder Springs) and they are ALL coming back up themselves this year

Most of the time they don't bloom, even if the foliage comes up. By the way, my potted tulips are starting to bloom; however one pot has almost no stems but the blooms are sitting on top of the dirt!! I didn't think I planted them too deep. They are really weird looking. ????
