I received a small start of geranium "Jester Jacket" last year and grew it in the greenhouse until it got a little bigger and stronger to put it out in a bed earlier this year.It was in high shade most of the day w/ a little bit of afternoon sun but not glaring. It grew into a nice size plant but never bloomed then suddenly disappeared without a trace. We did have an unusual amount of rain in June but it was in a slightly burmed bed.
