I've seen them at Home Depot as well...saw a guy buying one over the weekend. It was either in Vinings or Buckhead but am sure all the locations have them.

I've seen barrels at Wal-mart, but you'd have to make them into a rain barrel yourself.

I found food grade (used for wine vinegar) barrels on craigslit a few weeks ago and bought 2 from a guy in Dallas, GA for only $30 each. I will have to convert them into rain barrels but the cost of supplies from Home Depot is around $10 so it is still a huge savings. Fernbank had a rainbarrel workshop (how to make) a few weeks ago and I think they'll be offering it again throughout the summer.

The The annual CCMGA plant sales will be in Carrollton, May 10th at the Ag Center on Newnan Rd. beginning at 9:00 AM. There will be many hardy plants that are suitable for this area of northwest Georgia. There will be native azaleas for the landscape as well as rain barrels at $55 each (as long as they last!). Get there early
