What's wrong with the ground fish guts? We are not going to eat them ourselves! And they have tons of nitrogen and microelements. Just make a weak solution and give it to the baby Pegasus. And wash your hands and watering can 7 times afterwards.

Well, aside from me being vegetarian, I don't really know of any place where I can get very small quantities of fish guts for my three small Streps.

I think even at Home Depot they sell blue bottles - 12 ounces I think Miracle grow makes it and keeps the aroma kinda in control. Almost all plants like it - inside and outside. I even got a gallon bottle for my roses.

Use latex gloves - you can trash them and not sniff your hands from time to time 3 days afterwards. I got the whole box in Home Depot and use them when I repot or do something with the stuff I do not want to stick my hands in. Like what I needed to do when my BC doggie had a giardia infection last weekend. (Oh boy - oh boy - oh boy - hope never again).

Good luck with the fish thing... I use AV fertilizer. Works great for me.
