No, I don't grow it, but the most interesting thing I read on the tag at the nursery was that it likes heat but NOT humidity.
So I am also wondering how it would perform down here. A GW friend grows it in PA and has good luck with it.

The humidity part doesn't sound too good does it? So GGG, do you know what your firend in PA does to amend the soil for jasione? Although if it doesn't like humidity, it might not matter.

she plants hers in regular garden soil in a hot, sunny area. She lives in the mountain region there, so may already have good drainage.
