If it was me I would move just one plant to a shady spot and give the rest another year to see if they just had an off year. This will give you a basis for comparison. Seems I remember Pride Of Mobile wasn't the most hardy azalea for this area though I'm not sure. Nevertheless we have been having warmer winters due to global warming and this has resulted in what used to be zone 7A now considered zone 8 according to Walter Reeves.

I think (not positive) that other people in the subdivision have the same azaleas and they look ok, so I'm assuming it is the placement or something else I'm doing. The other plants in the same area, hollies, boxwoods, camelia, are doing fine. I will move the ones in the front, which get the most sun and see what happens.

I did move 3 of the azaleas and I'm glad I did. They came up very easily and were sitting in standing pools of water! It has rained a lot lately, but I think this has been going on for awhile.

I moved them to the shady spot. I can't replant in those other spots until I improve the drainage. My roses seem to do OK there, but I planted them a bit up on a mound.

I may fill in with more roses and then try some azaleas next year.
