Help with Painter's Splash.

I went to a local daylily farm. While there I purchased Painter's Splash because it was in bloom and beautiful. As the owner dug the plant I wrote the Id and tagged the plant. When I got home and started researching Painter's Splash I'm finding that it doesn't quite match the image on Tinker's and I can't find any other Photos of Painter's Splash. Here is what bloomed today, didn't quite open all the way, but it is newly planted.

If anyone has any pictures of Painter's Splash other than what is on tinker's could you please post them. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Andrea

Your Painter's Splash looks a lot like Tuscawilla Princess to me......

Thanks Jan. I guess I can definitely rule out it being Painter's Splash. That pic looks like the one on Tinker's

Rick it does look a lot like Tuscawilla Princess.

I'll have to go back and let the owner know that what he is selling as Painter's Splash isn't. Maybe he will be able to figure out what he purchased. Or it could be it was sent to him incorrectly and he just didn't know.

I wouldn't be so worried except I'm slowly building my collection so I can hopefully open my own farm one day and I want to be sure what I'm selling. So I have been research everyone I get to make sure I've received the correct one.

Thanks for your help.

I received Painter's Splash last fall as a bonus plant, but it did not bloom for me this year,so I have no idea what it will look like if it ever blooms.
