Just out of curiosity....And this is nothing against you GGG, but is this sort of advertising allowed on all of these forums now?

I think is OK to post about sales if they are not your own. We talk about what Big Box stores and nurseries carry and have in stock.
I figured if "the powers that be" don't want it on here, they will pull it!

I, for one, appreciate this kind of notice and information. It seems to me to be the same kind of thing as the perennial "is Ty Ty nurseries legit?" posting, the "where do you go to buy your spring/fall flowerbulbs?" posting; and as GGG mentioned, the alerts to everyone that Home Depot or Lowes or Pike Nursery is having a big blowout sale. Only, this information is better for me and more helpful, because the plants are being grown locally by someone GGG knows and trusts.

I certainly hope the Gardenweb powers-that-be don't disagree that this kind of posting qualifies as a notice rather than an advertisement, because I see it as exactly the kind of information that a local forum like Georgia Gardeners is set up to provide. The only suggestion I would make to GGG is to also put it on the gardenweb calendar of events.

Back in the olden days when Spike ruled the world of Gardenweb, posting a list of plants you have for sale would mean a trip to Disney. Those days are long gone now. I see these types of posts very frequently on several of the forums I visit. Was just wondering what the rules were now, but obviously they are much more relaxed. I say, it's better to just go with the flow...Good luck with the sale. If anyone out there is looking for healthy locally-grown daylilies please feel free to e-mail me for info on where to find some.
