It's a little early for the August Beauties to be blooming.

Mine here near Atlanta are already showing small buds, but they are not ready to open yet - maybe in about 2 weeks - they usually are in bloom here the first week of June or so

Mine usually open right around Memorial day. I actually had intermittent blooms until Oct./Nov. last year.

Two of my august beauties started blooming last week (same time as you), just as my daisy was starting to peak. This seems consistent with years past, if not a little early. My radicans will start opening soon, so I should have that wonderful gardenia smell for quite some time! I'm about 2 miles south of downtown, btw.

I am in Roswell, and mine opened up few days ago.

When my daisy gardenias first starting blooming, they were huge. Now they are quarter sized. Is this normal?
