Did I over do it with these three vines all growing together?

Is there an arbor in there somewhere?

The Honeysuckle is about done and the Passiflora will continue to bloom all summer with the Jassmine just coming in it sure smells good! This screens out my neighbor completely from view from my patio.

Vroomp, how do you keep the passiflora in check? I had two but within a month they ate the garden and where running everywhere.

How high is your screen? I need one in the side against the new construction of my neighbours oh, say 15-20'.

In the back I need one oh, say about 45' lol :)

I did something very similar on my arbor. I have Trachelospermum 'Madison', Gelsemium rankinii, Lonicera tellmanniana, Gelsemium x 'Butterscotch', Wisteria f. 'Amethyst Falls' and Kadsura 'Chirimen'. I had four other honeysuckles which have since died. The arbor is located near a large Wax Myrtle which has since taken to leaning on it and now the vines have crept into its canopy plus a nearby Cedar! I am definitely a practitioner of the crowded vine look!

Ha! It's more like a wall now than a screen.
I bought a confederate jasmine this spring and on one branch alone it has grown 6 inches. And from GGG's comment on passiflora, sounds like you are a busy pruner!

I let the Passiflora get away just once. It went up into the Oak tree about fifty feet and bloomed up there where I saw nothing. Needless to say it won't be traveling far any more. The only real problem is that it has a root that can travel under concrete and I now have some growing on the other side of the patio. Fotunately I have trained it up a sheppards hook where it has over 50 buds to enjoy for the next month or so!

I had passionvine and bignonia on the same trellis with golden showers and Don Juan roses alongside. I felt like the passionvine was killing the bignonia so in the fall I cut it down and moved it -- it appears to be dead in the new site but now I'm growing 2 new passionvines where the old one was.

It did so well and the bignonia seems to be hanging by a thread...made a bunch of flowers this spring but almost no leaves... thinking about what to do because the passionvine is so great.

I have two passion vines from the trade. Could I train these to grow through some ligustrums or would they kill them?
