Looks like a Paulownia to me. It is both a tree and a weed in my opinion. This invasive tree was introduced to America from China and is also known as Princess Tree. They do bloom nicely about the same time as Red Buds with bluish flowers that look like Foxgloves or , to me, more like Kudzu. This is a fast growing tree, reaching twenty feet in just a few years and spreading millions of seeds per tree.

It does look like Paulownia except for the serrated leaf edges. My Mother always called them wysteria trees because of their flowers and invasiveness. The bigger leaves are great for making huge leaf stepping stones.
