I would like to find a pampas grass for our area. Last year I put container planted a purple fountain grass and it was beautiful. Is this an annual or will I see it return? It was kept in the basement all winter, cut back this spring, but, so far, no life. What can I plant as part of my landscape that will come back that is a pampas? There is a lovely display of them in one of our city parks by the bike trail and river. Thanks!
