Sugarhill got me to thinking...

This year I started intermixing my vegetables and my flowers (not all of them, but some). If vegetable gardens are exempt from watering bans, I can't help it if some of the adjacent flowers soak up the water intended for the vegetables. :-)

As an additional note, I've been hounding my husband to help me put in a rain barrel for over a year. Guess there's no point now...you have to have rain to fill it!
