I found some @ Home Depot "Midtown" (600-block of Ponce) two weekends ago, but they were only 42" cages. I prefer the 54" but even then, my tomatoes usually outgrow them within the first 4-6 weeks and I wind up having to brace the cages with stakes.

Last year, I couldn't find any cages at all, so I improvised - I went to a Home Depot just outside the perimeter (can't recall the location, but it's by their HQ or warehouses here in town), went to the masonry/roofing section of the store, and they had 4'x6' sections (sheets) of concrete reinforcing wire (See this page, middle picture). I think this product is used for pouring driveways or concrete footers? I bought 4 of them, took them home, wire-tied the ends together and voila! Instant cage. If you want a "tighter" cage, you could trim off a bit ...

You might give this a shot. The only downside is...the ones I bought weren't galvanized, so they rusted eventually. You could probably spraypaint them with Rustoleum (or similar) to prevent this from happening to you.

I am using the 5' tall wire mesh roll Lowes has for $39. I found it at the garden section of Snellville Lowes. It won't rust, and the wire is a good bit thinner than the remesh thing, so a pair of pliers is sufficient to make a cage out of it. The cell size is like 2"x4" as opposed to 6x6 on remesh, so it seems strong enough, just need to stake it real good. If you use the $10 Lowes coupon (link below), the roll comes out at $29.
