I will be moving back to South Georgia, probably the Valdosta area, by the end of the year. I've been in Florida for a few years now, and miss some of plants I used to grow.

I'd like to know if purple leaf plum will bloom in the Valdosta area. I have one that I use as a foliage plant down here, and am trying to decide whether to pot up a shoot to bring with me or not.

I have quite a few plants that I can bring, although some will be house plants like my cane and angel wing begonias, but I'm looking forward to once again being able to grow what I miss here, like my stone fruits.
