I seem to live in the black hole of raindom. Sometimes it rains less than a mile away from us. Yet we are dry.

Keep your fingers crossed, "Barry" is on the way!

I had maybe 25 drops yesterday between 4:30 and 5pm. It was the first rain, of any kind, in 16 days.

Current radar looks like Barry is parked over wildfire areas, so maybe they'll get a lot of help.

There is a lovely clump of rain sitting right on the south Georgia/Florida border. I haven't seen anything in the news yet about it helping the fires, but it really has got to be doing so.

Last night I went to forsyth county and it rained. But of course it didn't rain here at home. Watched the wet roads turn to dry roads on the way home to gwin.

I am in south Ga around Valdosta and we got 3 and 1/2 inches and it is still raining. We are very thankful.

We came home from a party in Dunwoody this PM to find our rain barrels with a bit of water in them!! HURRAY!
