Is it too late to plant???

My neighbor just returned from Zinbabwe with seven year bean seeds, a type of lima. Could I plant now and expect a crop?

Another question: could I get cilantro to grow now? Could put it where it doesn't get the full hot sun.

Lima beans will get a real jump start in this heat & there should still plenty of time for them to mature. I don't know about cilantro (don't care for it myself).

It's probably too late for the cilantro. Usually by the time the tomatoes are ready to make fresh salsa, my cilantro is spent. :-( Some people have had mild success with it in containers and moving it about in shadier areas.
