Thought I would recommend the Georgia Consumer and Market Bulletin to anyone who hasn't tried it. This time of year a good many people are offering mulch hay - some in Alpharetta for $1 a bale - doesn't say the size of the bale; horse and chicken manure - some you pick up yourself, some is delivered. Some church is looking for clumping liriope - they'll come dig it up - if anyone is looking to get rid of his or her liriope. And, of course, the usual flower and seed sales for a couple of dollars and a SASE. There is also news that the state poultry labs will now diagnose chicken illnesses for people who keep a few chickens.
