What will grow under this large oak tree. This is under an oak, that was once limbed up. Get's a good bit of sun in this bed, even though it is under a tree.

I would say mostly sun in this bed. What I've tried already: Carolina jasmine, stella d'or daylilies, monkey grass. No go, stella are "hanging in" but not real happy.

It is very dry, in spite of watering a lot, soaker hose. What, if anything will grow here.

That's dry, mostly sun, slope, under large oak tree (very little shade in bed.) Zone 7 North Mississippi. I'm all ears!
