Is it too late?

A family member just moved into a new place and wants to start a late-season vegatable garden with tomatoes, cukes, crooked-neck squash, and so on.

My fear is that if it takes 45 to 60 days to produce, it will too cool to ripen some of the plants even starting with plants instead of seeds.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Jim
