I was about to whack off some suckers from my witch hazel this morning when it occurred to me that someone might want some. If anyone is interested, I'll try to pot up the suckers for the fall trade. I've never tried this before, but I can't imagine it's too difficult.

This is plain ordinary hamamelis molis, no particular cultivar. It reaches a height somewhere between 15 and 20 feet. It's multi-stemmed and the bark is various shades of patterned grey. The pattern almost looks like lichen is growing on the trunks. Sort of ugly (IMO) orangey-brown flowers in winter. Everyone who comes to the house asks me what it is. I don't know if they are asking Wow, what is that? or OMG, what is that?

Anyway, I have three suckers right now, so if anyone wants dibs, let me know.
