that is excellent! I'm definitely doing this for my kids.

I also read that if you put the undeveloped pumpkin inside a square object or box about the size the pumpkin will be when mature, you can grow a square pumpkin! My little ones love reading that Spookley book so I'm hoping to blow their minds that way too ;)

I just used a pocket knife, and it wasn't all that neat as you can see :) Maybe some of you can think of a better way!

How far along should pumpkin be when I do this? This one has only been growing a week or so.
